The 95th Anniversary of the Trinity County Fair
It’s a Good Ol’ Country Fair
2016 marked the 95th anniversary of the Trinity County Fair held at the fairgrounds in Hayfork.
We hope that you will experience one of the last remaining tradition country fairs in California. Take a peek at the 2016 schedule of events and follow us on Facebook. Camping is available at the fairgrounds by reservation.
The Trinity County Fair started in 1921 and owes its beginnings to H.C. Smith, a Hayfork rancher who tried for years, and succeeded, to convince his neighbors and friends to help organize a local fair.
Since then, the fair has been showcasing local livestock, agriculture, floriculture, artwork, baked and preserved goods, crafts, clothing and quilts, reflecting unique values, culture, and heritage of Trinity County.
