What is “The Sweetest Swing in Baseball?” Is it a play about baseball, a play about mental illness, a play about dealing with success, or is it about all of these and more? Dana Fielding (Tara Gwaltney), a talented young artist who struggles with accepting her success, receives a bad review for a recent show. This triggers a suicide attempt and she ends up in a mental institution, where she meets two patients, Gary (Joey Hall) and Michael (Jeffery Hall) who explain occupational therapy, extra privileges and Multiple Personality Disorder. With the help of Dr. Gilbert (Anmarie Swanstrom) and Dr. Stanton (C.J. Sisco) Dana struggles to adjust to her new life.
